The Story behing creatively Zia

Hey there...

Eventually, I returned to my creative roots—this time with clarity, purpose, and a deep love for helping passionate people bring their visions to life. Today, I blend design, strategy, and storytelling to create aligned brands, intuitive websites, and photography that feels natural, genuine, and meaningful.

When I’m not designing or behind the camera, you’ll find me in the mountains hiking or backpacking, hula hooping, hanging out with my cats (Leo & Sunny), or making memories with my family. Those moments of connection and nature keep me grounded in the WHY I do this work.

My creative journey started at 13 with a camera in hand and a pet-portrait side gig that unknowingly set the foundation for everything I do today. I’ve always been drawn to capturing people in their element and telling stories through thoughtful, intentional visuals.

After graduating from the University of Oregon with a BA in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing, I stepped right into the corporate design world. It taught me structure and discipline, but not freedom—so I pivoted. I spent the next several years strengthening my organizational, communication, and leadership skills in the executive administrative space, not realizing how perfectly they’d prepare me for the work I’m meant to be doing.
